Join us for Espresso Yourself, a pop-up ceramics handbuilding workshop at TaDaa Coffee in Frogtown.
Make and decorate your own espresso set using handbuilding techniques taught by instructor Sarah 'Smitch' Mitchell of Smitch Pots. Your ticket includes a handbuilding workshop, firing, glazing, and complimentary specialty coffee beverage by TaDaa Coffee.
*Substitutions or alternatives are available for an additional fee and must be purchased directly from TaDaa Coffee, if desired.
In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll explore the basics of handbuilding with slabs or pinching/coiling methods to creating your own unique espresso set. Then you can decorate your set by carving, adding sculptural elements and painting with our selection of underglaze colors. We’ll guide you step-by-step, sharing tips on technique throughout the process.
We'll handle the firing and glazing and your piece will be ready for pickup in approximately 3 weeks at TaDaa Coffee.
No experience necessary—all supplies and materials included!
